Metal Mulisha Makes History En Route to Gold at X Games 17

Deegan takes dramatic RallyCross win,

Jacko lands first-ever front flip in FMX Best Trick

Irvine, CA. (August 2, 2011) - Chalk
up another historic X Games for the Metal Mulisha, as Brian Deegan and
the Mulisha family won big in Freestyle Motocross and Rally during X
Games 17, picking up five total medals along the way and providing
undoubtedly two of this year's most memorable moments.

'The
General' Brian Deegan capped off the weekend with a career-defining
gold medal in RallyCross, dominating the finals over Tanner Foust,
Deegan's Ford teammate who won gold in 2010, and Marcus Gronholm. After
winning big in his qualifying race against the likes of Travis Pastrana,
Deegan got off to strong start in the final, taking the lead in the
first turn. His lead widened throughout the race, which took place along
the streets of downtown Los Angeles. The gold adds to Deegan's total
tally of 13 X Games medals, with four gold, since first competing in
1999.

"I've
done a lot on a dirtbike and off-road truck, but winning gold in Rally
is now the best moment of my career," said Deegan.  "We've been waiting
for this race since last year and to take home the gold this time around
is an awesome feeling!"

Earlier in the weekend, X Games rookie
Jackson 'Jacko' Strong landed the first-ever X Games front flip during
Freestyle Motocross Best Trick, earning a huge cheer from the crowd and a
score of 95.66.  Fellow Aussie and Mulisha teammate Cam Sinclair took
silver with a double backflip, the same trick that won him gold in 2010.

 "The
front flip was something I've been working on for awhile, but to land
it in front of the whole world at X Games was just an unbelievable
feeling," said Jacko. "It feels even better to have Cam alongside me on
the podium and bring two medals back to Australia."

Ronnie
Faisst, who recently recovered from a broken femur, rebounded by taking
bronze in Speed & Style, his second consecutive in the event.
Mulisha fan favorite Todd Potter won yet another medal in best whip, his
seventh overall X Games medal.

"Every year at X Games,
fans expect the best from the Mulisha, and we never disappoint," said
Deegan. 'The Mulisha is always about doing what we love and being the
best, no matter what sport. This year's X games proves again that
Mulisha is on top of the action sports world."

Deegan's big win also paid off for one X Games attendee, as part of the Metal Mulisha and Ford 'I Win! You Win! competition,' where fans were partnered with Ford rally finalists and the winner received a Mulisha-wrapped Ford Fiesta.  Scott Figgins from Camarillo, Calif  took home the grand prize and a spot on national TV after Deegan crossed the finish line.

The
Mulisha honored one of their fallen family members on Thursday night,
with a tribute video for Jeff 'Ox' Kargola, who passed away this April
from a crash in Baja, Mexico. All weekend, Mulisha team members, family
and friends wore Ox Memorial t-shirts, which are available on
www.metalmulisha.com. Proceeds from sales of the Ox t-shirt will support hospitals in the Baja, Mexico area.

The
Mulisha team and support staff was also showcasing the new 'Mulisha X
Nation' t-shirt for this year's X Games, featuring a shield with the
signature Mulisha skull and swords on front, and reference to the
Mulisha's upcoming film, 'Black Friday,' coming this November, on back.
Fans can purchase the X Nation t-shirt at
