Media Follows Fiolek to X Games - Ashley Featured on ESPN Sportscenter, Sports Illustrated, The New York Times and More

August 2, 2008 (Pebble Beach, CA) – Rising women’s motocross star, 17-year-old Ashley Fiolek, continues to capture the attention of the national mainstream media. Ashley, who is currently leading the WMA Women's National Motocross Championship, has been in Los Angeles this week preparing for the Women’s Moto X event at ESPN’s XGames 14.

“Coming into the XGames and leading the WMA Championship as a 17-year old first year professional motocrosser has developed into a story of great interest to the media” said Hardcard’s John Farris, a partner in Ashley’s management company. “Clearly women’s professional motocross and the WMA have been established as a legitimate and entertaining motorsports property with great personalities and a terrific racing product”, added Farris.

In addition to ESPN, Sports Illustrated and the New York Times, Ashley has done interviews with Cosmo Girl, Rolling Stone, PETA.com, FUEL TV and nearly a dozen local media outlets. Fans can watch the Women’s Moto X event at X Games 14 live, Saturday, August 2 at 4:00pm ET on ABC.
