Max Nagl Seeks Maximum Fan Assistance for the Teutschenthal GP!

Munich, 19th of March, 2009: Flying MX bikes, an ear-battering uproar and 30,000 frenzied fans: from the 19th to the 21st of June 2009, the fastest motocross riders in the world will lap the legendary Teutschenthal basin again. At the only stage of the FIM Motocross World Championships in Germany, also the country’s leading motocross rider will be in the starting gate: Max Nagl. On this occasion, he has invited his biggest fans to the “Max Nagl´s Fan Camp“. At Nagl’s season highlight, they will get the unique opportunity to dive deeper into the race happenings of the Motocross Worlds than ever before. They will not only experience the exciting world championship races very closely but also get to know Max Nagl as well as motocross legends Pit Beirer and Stefan Everts from the KTM team.

“Apply for a spot at my fan stand! You only need to send me your ideas how you want to support me at my world championship races as loud and convincing as possible. No matter if with a giant horn or with a huge banner – creativity is what we look for!”, Max Nagl stated. The 15 most creative motocross fans plus their companion will secure themselves a place at Max Nagl´s Fan Camp. Application is possible until the 18th of May 2009, directly at Max Nagl´s new website, www.maxnagl.de.

More than 30,000 fans are expected to come to Teutschenthal, Germany, when the engines of the MX bikes will once again rev at the only German stage of the FIM Motocross World Championships. But not one of them will be as close to the action as the 15 fans with their companion who will be chosen at the Max Nagl fan competition. An unforgettable world championship weekend awaits the winners! The selection criterion is: maximum creativity. There is no limit for the participants' imagination: from inventive posters, body-painting and unusual horns to deceptively real-looking Max Nagl masks or a Latin chariot made of paper-mâché, anything goes. A draft or a description of the projected way of assistance already suffices to apply for Max Nagl´s Fan Camp. Application is possible until the 18th of May 2009, directly at Max Nagl´s website.

After the end of the term, Max Nagl, Pit Beirer and the MotoX Magazine will determine the winners. Then, the 15 successful fans will have three weeks time to turn their ideas into reality and encourage Max Nagl dynamically at the GP on the legendary racetrack of the Teutschenthal basin.

Max Nagl’s fans will not only experience their hero at the race but also meet him at a joint BBQ. In addition, they will gain an unforgettable insight into the world of the KTM team at the “Meet & Greet” with KTM’s Motocross Sports Director Pit Beirer and Team Manager Stefan Everts at the Red Bull Energy Station. Plus, they will not only get know Max closely, but also his bike. At the “Technical Information Workshop“, KTM’s Technical Director will explain all details of Max’s Factory Bike.

A big portion of campfire romance will cap Max Nagl´s Fan Camp. Just as befits a true fan, the winners will stay the night at their own tent or caravan at the exclusive “fan area” on the camping ground. Altogether, an unforgettable weekend with maximum fun before, at and after the race awaits the fans. Max Nagl is already sure that “I will certainly get much closer to the podium thanks to this special assistance of my fans”.
