Mark Burkhart to Race Springfield TT on Memphis Shades Yamaha

First Time for Burkhart Racing in TT Event

Advance, NC (May 22, 2008) - Mark Burkhart (Graves Motorsport Yamaha), 2008 Moto X World Champion, 2007 X-Games Supermoto Gold winner, and 2007 AMA Supermoto Champion will be in Springfield Illinois this Memorial Day Weekend racing in the AMA GNC Singles Championship on a Memphis Shades Yamaha. The racing action starts at 7:30 PM on Saturday night May 24, 2008 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.

Burkhart will be running the number #11F for this weekend. His teammates will be Kevin Varnes and Marco Belli from Brazie, Italy. Belli is one of Europe's top dirt track racers.

"The TT race is something I have wanted to do for a few years and just thought I would give it a try. There is so much history associated with the event, plus it looks like fun.
