Marc de Reuver makes strong comeback at the Dutch Open in Halle‏

Marc de Reuver of the Yamaha van Beers Racing Team has made
a strong comeback after a shoulder injury at the Dutch Open in Halle.
Marc finished third and fifth in the motos and finished fourth overall.

Marc
set the tenth fastest time in practice. Marc knew that the track was
still very fast and that it would be more heavy in the races. In the
first moto he took the holeshot and was leading the race in the first
lap. In the second lap he dropped back to fourth position but he stayed
calm and tried to find his rhythm. In the middle of the race he passed
the third place rider and managed to held on to this position till the
chequered flag waved. In the second moto he took a great start again.
He was fighting for second position for a long time but in the closing
stages of the race he got tired and dropped back to fifth position.
With these results he finished fourth overall. Despite the fact that he
had missed the first round in Gemert he sits in eleventh position in
the Dutch Open Championship Standings.

In the following weeks Marc will prepare himself for the first round of the World Championship Series at Sevlievo in Bulgaria
