MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli Sports Congratulate 2011 AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto

Former Three-Time Motocross Champion Looking for Premier-Class Sweep

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.
(May 9, 2011) - MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli, the Alliance of Action
Sports - organizers of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship -
wish to congratulate Monster Energy Kawasaki's Ryan Villopoto on
winning his first-ever premier-class title, claiming the Monster Energy
AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, crown on Saturday night in
Las Vegas. Villopoto, a three-time AMA Pro 250cc Motocross Champion
from 2006-2008, emerged victorious after withstanding a 17-race charge
from the biggest stars in the sport - Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, James
Stewart and Trey Canard - all of whom have AMA Pro Motocross titles on
their résumés.

"Ryan
had two really tough years once he moved up to the Supercross class,
but through hard work and perseverance-not to mention a great team at
Monster Energy Kawasaki-he was finally able to grab another #1 plate,"
said Davey Coombs, Vice President of MX Sports Pro Racing. "Everyone
involved in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship is really
proud not only of Ryan, but all of the other athletes out there who
challenged him for the title, including our defending champions Ryan
Dungey and Trey Canard, who unfortunately was knocked out of the chase
last month. We'd also want to acknowledge the effort of past AMA Pro
Motocross Champions like Chad Reed, James Stewart and more."

Also
earning titles over the weekend were Supercross Lites East- and
West-Region Champions Justin Barcia, for GEICO Powersports Honda, and
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Broc Tickle. Each of these rising
stars is expected to be a title contender in the 250 Class this summer
in the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

A
special nod also goes out to DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing Yamaha's Ryan
Sipes for winning the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout on Saturday
night. The veteran rider will also be vying for the 250 Class title
beginning in just under two weeks on Saturday, May 21 at the Rockstar
Energy Hangtown National, located in the shadow of the California State
Capital of Sacramento.

"We
at MX Sports Pro Racing and Alli would also like to congratulate
everyone at Feld Motor Sports for producing such an entertaining and
exciting series," added Coombs. "The entire 2011 AMA Supercross
Championship delivered great racing, and it will certainly be a tough
act to follow. Based on the competition we saw this season, we're all
excited to see how things will play out this summer."
