MX Rewind At Unadilla Is A Wrap!

New Berlin, New York - June 7, 2012: The Unadilla MX Rewind, held for the first time ever, is over. Held last weekend, June 1-3, the event was a resounding success, and the estimated 2500 folks who attended were all treated to an amazing weekend which included racing, stories from the racing careers of over fifteen former racing legends, and even some tall tales around the campfires.
"Overall, we were very pleased with how the event went, and the turn out we had" said Greg Robinson, owner of the famed race track and son of legendary race promoter Ward Robinson. "I really can't thank everyone enough - from the legends themselves, to all the fans for coming out. It made for a very special weekend, and we are already working on our plans for next year's MX Rewind".
Legend riders in attendance included European Trials Champion Mick Andrews, Mark Barnett, Carlo Coen, Guy Cooper, Tony Distefano, Donnie Hansen, Barry Higgins, Dewayne and Gary Jones, Mickey Kessler, World Champions Brad Lackey and Trampas Parker, Ronnie Lechien, Gunnar Lindstrom, Pat Moroney, Jeff Stanton, and Jimmy Weinert.
One of the many highlights of the weekend included Guy Cooper putting on an amazing show, racing just about anything he could get his hands on, and literally riding the wheels off of the machines. Other high points included Jeff Stanton racing in the legends class aboard a retro CR500 two stroke and spending the last lap riding the fence high fiving the fans. As a throwback to days of old, on Saturday morning the first racers out in practice were treated to a grassy Unadilla racetrack.

MX Rewind will return for 2013, and it is one race you won't want to miss! Dates for the 2013 event will be announced this fall.
