MDK Motorsports and the Over the Hill Gang Team Up to Help RiderDown

MDK Motorsports and the Over the Hill Gang (OTHG) teamed up during the Over the Hill Gang National September 1 – 2 at the Hollister Hills GP Track in Hollister Hills, California to raise money for RiderDown Foundation!

MDK Motorsports generously donated a motorcycle for raffling, with a portion of the raffle proceeds going to RiderDown. In addition, the RiderDown Foundation donated a Leatt-Brace for the raffle, with all proceeds going to the RiderDown Foundation. In total, the Over the Hill Gang Bay Area Chapter ended up donating over $4,000 to RiderDown!

“Through the generosity of Over The Hill Gang, Bay Area Chapter, it’s members and MDK Motorsports, we are able to better serve those riders who have been injured ”, stated Art Jurado, RiderDown Foundation’s Vice President. “We were excited at the idea of being named the as one of the beneficiaries for the event from the outset and were very pleased when Scott Hack, Vice President, OTHG informed us that $4,000 was raised.”

RiderDown has been very busy this year helping several injured riders including Chris Blais, Doug Henry, Vince Karnow, Chase Borders and many more across the country.  Through the efforts and generosity of the off road riding community, RiderDown has been able to bring significant financial and emotional benefits to those riders and families in need.

About Over the Hill Gang:

The Over the Hill Gang, or OTHG is an organization of men and women dedicated to the sport of motocross. OTHG members must be 30 years or older (25 if female). Motocross races and play days are held regularly and classes are divided by skill level. Each motocross rider is ranked by skill level and must race within his or her class. New OTHG members are evaluated for skill level before eligibility to race for points. Points are accumulated and awards are given to the riders with the most points at the end of each year. All events are divided into three age categories - 30+, 38+ and 45+. All skill levels are encouraged to join and women are welcome. We race in the following skill levels: Beginner (real beginners!), Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Pro. We race for fun! Our main goal is to promote safety and fairness in veteran motocross racing! In conjunction with our sister chapters - South, Sierra, and Reno, we take part in a four race National Series that visits such famous motocross tracks as The Oatfield, Fernley, Hollister Hills GP, and Glen Helen.
