Knight and Abbatoye Continue Winning Ways

Despite the enormous cloud of ash wreaking
havoc on travelers around the world, the World Enduro racers were able
to make it to the start line in time for the second round of the FIM
World Enduro Championship series this past weekend in northern
Portugal.

David Knight started the series off
with a solid 1-1 finish in Spain and was looking to keep his win streak
alive heading into the weekend. After finishing a close second on day
one, Knight was able to rebound and take the win on day two, further
extending his points lead in the series to eight.

The FIM World Enduro Championship will take some time off before heading to Italy for the third round on May 22 – 23, 2010.

Stateside,
the WORCS racers were battling it out in Adelanto, Calif. where Moose
Racing rider, Ryan Abbatoye increased his win streak to three with a
convincing win in the Pro 2 class. Abbatoye was a full lap ahead of his
closest competitor and was battling with the top Pro class riders for
much of the day.

Abbatoye takes his 22-point series lead into
a well-deserved four week break before the WORCS series hits the
half-way point on May 14 – 16, 2010 in Milford, Calif.

The
Parts Unlimited OMA Nationals kicked off their 10-round series in
Medora, Ind. last weekend where Moose Racing riders had a strong
showing. Pro Class riders, Scott Watkins and Jordan Ashburn both
finished on the podium via second and third place finishes,
respectively.

The second round of the
series will take place on May 1 – 2, 2010 in Hanging Limb, Tenn.
