Kill Cliff Unadilla Race Report Presented by Bill My Parents

New Berlin, NY– Team Kill Cliff/Dragon Racing Fuels/Cernics KTM riders Jacob Hayes and Justin Starling had mixed results but remained focused on making the best of the rest of the series. Moto 1 proved to set the tone for the day as the team worked to improve in moto 2.

In moto 1, Hayes got off the gate slow and found himself mid-pack after the first turn. He then went down and collected four other riders with him. He had a hard time restarting his bike as he went a lap down. Hayes pulled off the track and the team began to prepare for moto 2.

In his second race of the season, Justin Starling is still getting used to the race pace and is focused on getting race time for the remainder of the series. Starling got off the gate slow and battled at the back of the pack for the entire first moto and finished 30^th.

When the gate dropped for moto 2, Hayes did not get the start he was hoping for but managed to stay in the lead pack for most of the race in 13^thposition. The track proved to challenge Hayes and he lost a few positions before finishing 17^th. Hayes continues to gain points each race and has continued to improve in his rookie season. Hayes went (39) (17) for 20^thoverall.

Justin Starling set out to improve on his first moto and battled mid-pack for the entire moto. When the checkered flew, Starling finished 22^nd. Starling went (30) (22) for 27^thoverall.
