Press Release

Justin Brayton Injury Update

HUNTERSVILLE,
N.C. (April 13, 2011)
  Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team rider Justin
Brayton will not race round 15 of the AMA Supercross Championship this
Saturday, April 16 at Qwest Field in Seattle, Wash.  Brayton sustained
an injury to his lower back two weeks ago racing at Cowboys Stadium in
Dallas.  An initial evaluation that night at the Asterisk Mobile
Medical Unit led to Brayton being transported to Baylor Hospital to be
checked for possible compressed vertebrae.  He was scanned and released
after the doctors confirmed no skeletal damage, and he was told that
riding would not cause further injury, but would be extremely painful.

Brayton
was determined to race last weekend in St. Louis.  St. Louis is the
closest track to Brayton's home in Iowa, and he had a large group of
friends and family on-hand to watch him race.  He tried his best to
ride, but the pain was too severe and he was only able to log a few
laps of the first practice before calling it a day.

With
further guidance from the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit staff, Brayton
went to another physician and while there is no skeletal injury, he was
diagnosed with four sprained lower vertebrae.  He has engaged in a
therapy program and hopes to race on April 30 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in
Salt Lake City, Utah, the next round after Seattle.

Brayton's teammate Davi Millsaps will race in Seattle.  The original television broadcast from Qwest Field will air live on SPEED starting at 10:30 p.m. (EST).
