Josh Demuth Rides to a Podium Finish in Edmonton

Huntington, TX (June 15, 2010) - Despite rain
throughout most of the week, the sun greeted the Monster Energy Cernic's
Kawasaki team for Sunday's race at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton.  Josh
Demuth rode to a third place finish and
Troy Adams rode strong for seventh at round two of the CMRC Monster
Energy
Motocross Nationals.

After a rough start to the series in the
previous week,
Demuth and Adams felt more comfortable on the Edmonton track.  Despite a
bad start just outside the top
twenty, Demuth aggressively moved through the pack to finish third in
the first
MX1 Class moto.  Adams got a good jump
out of the gate and entered the first turn with the leaders.  However, a
slight bobble in the first turn
caused him to go down putting him at the back of the pack.  He rode hard
to an eighth place finish at the
checkered flag.

"I got a bad start but everything seemed to be
clicking,"
explained Arenacross champion Demuth.  "The
bike setup was really good and I felt better and better each lap.  Guys
started to fall off the pace so I
started making passes around the midway point and was fortunate enough
to get
into third."

In the second MX1 Class moto, Demuth started inside
the top
ten and battled with a few riders early in the moto.  Once he got by
those riders and into fourth
position the top three had already gained a substantial lead.  Demuth
rode a relatively uneventful race to
cross the finish line in fourth position. Adams start to the race saw
him way back in the pack but he charged hard
finish in seventh position.

"My starts are really hurting me
right now," said
Adams.  "I'm riding really well but those
starts and a few mistakes in each moto are not helping my results.  I
think Josh and I will both end up on the
podium sooner or later.  I just need to
do my part and I'm confident we'll get there soon."

Both riders
moved up in the overall series points with Demuth
in sixth and Adams in seventh.  Demuth is
only eight points out of a top three position and Adams is nine points
behind
his teammate.

"Both riders made some adjustments to their bikes
this
weekend and that seemed to make a big difference," said team owner Billy
Whitley.  "Despite his results, Troy rode
a really solid race and showed his determination to get to the front.
And I think Josh showed everyone here that he
is going to be a force to contend with throughout the rest of the
series.  I'm proud of all the guys on the team.  They've all been
working really hard and I'm
excited to be back on the box."

The Monster Energy Cernic's
Kawasaki Racing Team will
