The San Diego Hall of Champions is opening a new exhibit in honor of recently fallen freestyle motocross star Jeremy Lusk (X Games Gold medal winner).  Jeremy was a well known and loved freestyle motocross personality who had accumulated numerous awards over his career including, ESPN Moto X Championships FMX - Bronze,  X Games FMX - Gold, X Games Best Trick - Silver, X Games Mexico FMX - Gold to name just a few.   The San Diego Hall of Champions is the nation's largest multi-sport museum that honors nationally known athletes with a San Diego connection.

The Jeremy Lusk Tribute Exhibit and Dedication will take place at the San Diego Hall of Champions at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18. The Hall of Champions Sports Museum is located at 2131 Pan American Plaza in Balboa Park.  Memorabilia from Jeremy Lusk's career will be on display including a competition bike, gear and trophies.

The Dedication will be attended by many of Lusk's colleagues and Metal Mulisha teammates and will be on display through April 15th. Admission is free to the public.

The Tribute will also serve as the backdrop for the announcement of the formation of the Lusk Legacy Foundation, set up not only to honor the memory of Jeremy Lusk but dedicated to improving the safety in the sport of freestyle motocross at both the professional and recreational levels by protecting the livelihoods of the riders and their families.

The foundation's first fundraiser, A Gala and Poker Tournament, has been set for April 15th at the Pechanga Resort and Casino.  For more information, email info@lusklegacyfoundation.com.
