Internazionali d'Italia Motocross 2011 - Bobryshev is the Zar of Faenza

The
Russian rider dominates the Elite Class after a race full of
emotions

Paulin wins MX2 and Bernardini is the first in the
Under17

A
great race day, instead of the rain, has rewarded the more than 4.000
people, who reached Faenza to assist at this exciting and spectacular
Round #2. At the end of the day, the riders raced on a track which
was made almost perfect by the great work of the MotoClub “Monte
Coralli” staff during these last days. Bobryshev (Honda World
Motocross
) won the Elite Class and he granted a really great
performance after Round #1.

It
has been a great day for
Bobryshev,
who was the author of an almost perfect race, collecting a third
place in Final #1 and a first one in Final #2. In both of the manche
the Russian rider made a great start entering the struggle for the
top places immediately: during the first final he has been overcame
by Cairoli (Redbull Teka KTM Factory) few laps missing the chequered
flag, while in the second one takes the head of the race and
maintains till the finish, thanks to the coldness and the control
that belongs to great champions. It has not been a great day for the
Italian riders, who were expecting to hear the sound of their
National Anthem, during the day that celebrates the Unification of
Italy. The best one is
Cairoli,
who manages to get right consistence on this track, showing a marked
improvement in the feeling with his new bike, respect from Round #1.
The good second place in Final#1 is only the prelude to a wonderful
race in Final#2, when he starts back after the top-riders and manages
to recover till the third place, that let him to reach the second
step of the podium. In fact Final#2 has been characterized by the
duel between Cairoli and Philippaerts: they fight during the entire
race recovering many positions, with the Sicilian rider remaining
behind till the last turn, during which he overcomes Philippaerts
(Yamaha Factory Monster) with a great pass. It has not been a
brilliant day for the Italian-belgian rider, who does not repeat the
fantastic performance of Round#1, and he must recover during both
finals. A problem stops him just before the finish of the first race
and he has to satisfy himself with a fifth place, leaving the leader
table to his team-mate
Frossard (Yamaha
Factory Team). The French rider confirms the good performance of
Ponte a Egola, by winning Final#1 and taking a fifth place in
Final#2, and taking the fifth position. Even
 Guarneri
(Rockstar BUDracing Lovemytime Kawasaki), is the protagonist of a
fall during Finale #2, so darkening a great fourth place,
obtained
by a constant fight against the best riders, as well as Monni (Honda
Salucci Racing), who falls on the triple jump in the low part of the
track, being obliged to retire for a beat at his back. It has been a
dark day also for Strijbos (Suzuki Delta Racing) always following the
top riders, and Nagl (RedBull Teka KTM Factory), who retires during
the first Final and then he obtains a great second place in Final#2.

In
the MX2 separated classification
Paulin (Yamaha
Factory Monster) dominates, in spite of the fall during second final
that forced him to stays in third position riding his 250cc., in
front of the champions of the 450 cc class. The podium has been
completed by
Chiodi (Suzuki
Valenti Motocross), who gains a good second place during his
38
th birthday,
and
Smitka (TM
Factory Racing), who reaches his first Italian podium, by rescuing
the unfortunate but fighting performance of his team mate Leok (TM
Factory Racing).

In
the Under 17 class is again a duel between the two
friends
Zecchina (Suzuki
Castellari) and
Bernardini (KTM
Maglia Azzurra), who takes the victory at the end of day, thanks to
the first place gained in Final#2, which promptly redeems the fall
that gave the first position to Zecchina himself during Final#1. The
rider from Mantova is not able to repeat such a first place in the
second final, but anyway he is able not to go over the limit and so
to maintain the championship leadership. Behind them, the Swiss rider
Seweer (KTM) is third placed as Round#1, followed in this order by
Moroni (KTM Steels Dr.Jack), Ekerold (KTM Bodo Schimdt Motocross),
and Croci (KTM Bad Boys).

It
is the end for Round #2 NIKON Cup of Motocross Internazionali
d’Italia championship: a race day full of adrenaline and thrills,
which closes a period characterised by the bad weather, that made
everyone to change their programs. In three days there will be the
reply in Cingoli (MC); the fight for the title is becoming harder and
harder and the public is more and more excited.
