The most important Italian
championship is ready at the starting gate for the beginning of a fully
renewed 2011 season, characterized by a clear policy with an important
objective, to make race in Italy the best riders at world level. It has
been strategic the choice to identify Teams as the beneficiaries of the
prize money: the first feedback seems to be positive, mainly concerning to
the participation of the world Motocross top-riders.

MX1 and MX2 classes will be characterised by a new Race Format, which will
unify the two classes in the Elite class, according to the race programme.
Practice and qualification will be apart for MX1 and MX2, while a repechage
session (LCQ) will be disputed with mixed classes as well as the two final
races: the Elite mixed class championship classification will identify the
“Internazionali d’Italia” winner.

Another pivotal news has been introduced in the Under 17 Italian
championship, where there will be the unique class 125cc. 2 stroke, after
the great results obtained by those Teams which had the courage to invest
in this capacity during the last year. It has always been a very
propaedeutics class for the young riders, who are changing from Minicross
to Motocross.

It has been already confirmed the participation at the entire championship
of the Red Bull KTM Factory MX1-MX2
Team with Cairoli, the MX1 World Champion for the second
consecutive time, and the German rider Nagl, fourth classified in the World
Championship and winner at San Severino Marche 2010. Moreover, returning
from the American Supercross we will see the MX2 World vice-champion Rokzen
at his European seasonal debut, together with the Dutch rider Herlings.

Yamaha Factory Monster Team confirmed his participation with Philippaerts,
the 2008 World Champion and third classified in the 2010, Paulin, coming
from a great performance at the Superbowl, other than Frossard, third
placed in the MX2 championship last year. Moreover it is foreseen other
Italian riders as Guarneri, the winner of 2010 title, with the new bike of
the Kawasaki Bud Racing LoveMyTime Team together with Aranda, the European
Supercross Champion. Husqvarna Ricci Racing will participate with Lupino, Leib e
Cervellin, solo dalla terza gara. The former 2009 MX2 champion at
Internazionali d’Italia, Monni is also awaited with the Honda of his new team Salucci Racing,
and with the Pardi Racing Honda there will be the Italian Champion
Compagnone. The two Leok, Aigar and Tanel, has been already entered with TM
Factory Racing in the MX1, as well as Smitka will race in MX2, while it can
be said the Yamaha Gariboldi Team will be present with Boissiere in MX1 and
mainly Charlier, the last year MX2 champion.

Finally, all the crossdomes will be available for free for those teams
making requests to practice and make tests on Mondays after each single
race. By this way, the needs of the participant Teams will meet those ones
of our organization: an important stage is going to be opened in this World
Championship pre-season part of 2011.

We are only at the early beginning but, on these premises, in the 2011
edition of “Internazionali d’Italia” seems that we have to wait for a great
