Honda Canada GDR partners with Fox Head Canada

Tillsonburg, ON (February 10, 2016) The Honda Canada GDR team is proud to announce the signing of a multi-year partnership agreement with Fox Head Canada with the official team name now being Honda Canada / GDR / Fox Racing team.

“Within the team we are always looking ahead, trying to build on our program and set new goals. With that being said, I couldn’t be more excited about partnering with Fox Head Canada as we share simliar goals and I can’t wait to get started with working on them together,” said Honda Canada GDR team owner Derek Schuster. “We look at Fox similar to how we view Honda as an iconic brand with deep roots in Motocross and it is an honour to have them working with us. The two brands have shared a total of 5 Canadian Motocross Championships together and will be looking to acheive more under the lead of GDR”

“I’m thrilled that Fox Head Canada will be partnering with the Honda Canada GDR team and expanding on our already established relationships within Honda and their Junior Red Riders programs. We are also very excited to welcome back Colton and Jeremy, two strong Canadian athletes. Verheyen went on to say "we are also pleased that Fox Head Canada will be providing support to the Honda Canada / GDR Racing Team this year, they are a well known and highly respected brand in the motorcycle industry, having them on board to assist with our off racing activities is very exciting. Not only will they be involved with the Honda Canada / GDR Team  they will also be supporting the next group of up and comers, the Honda Junior Red Riders, this program reaches across Canada and teaches kids aged 6 through 12 the fun of off road riding".

As the anticipation for the 2016 Canadian Motocross National season begins to build, the Honda Canada/GDR/Fox Racing team riders, Colton Facciotti & Jeremy Medaglia will continue pre-season preparations at the GPF facility and make their official debut in Fox Racing’s championship proven Instinct boots, v3 & v4 helmets and FLEXAIR & 360 racewear kits at Round 1 in Kamloops, BC on June 5^th, 2016.
