The Southern California region has long been known to produce some of the world's most gifted motocross riders. The area is a hot bed for all things motorsports especially on two-wheels and action sports. Ryan Beat is San Diego resident local to the East County, and like many grew up riding motocross. His skills quickly guided him to racing Supercross, and then finally to Pro Motocross where he became a Factory Kawasaki Rider. Always on the hunt for the next big rush, Ryan was introduced to the exciting Lucas Oil Off Road Series. The competitive wheel-to-wheel style racing looked to be right in line with Ryan's future aspirations. Turning the investment to switch from 2-wheels to 4 was a real undertaking, but through determination and a strong work ethic, he put together a solid UTV Program. Since joining the series, Beat has proven himself as a talented driver with a natural capacity for racing various disciplines. With only 15 races under his belt, Ryan has scored the fastest UTV qualifying time 5 out of 6 races and won 4 times out of those 6 events including the 2010 Challenge Cup. In addition to racing UTV, Ryan recently scraped together a Pro-Lite ride and quickly made a name for himself in that division by qualifying in the Top 4 during 5 of 8 races and starting from the pole 3 times.
Ryan Beat has always been the hands on type of guy who works on all his own equipment, figuring it out as he goes. To put it simply he is grounded and resourceful with a positive attitude. These actions have gotten him noticed.
Now with about 15 races under his belt, the talent is undeniable and supporters are lining up to help Ryan take it to the next level. Starting at Rounds 9 & 10 in Glen Helen on August 5-7th, Ryan Beat will campaign his #851 SR-1 UTV under the Hart and Huntington Off Road Tent.
Proving to be a great representative, Ryan recently appeared on Lucas Oil's Totally Off Road Radio sharing about his background as a Motocross rider and the news about his future plans behind the wheel in short course racing. "It has been a learning process working the bugs out. We have the speed, but the trick is to get to the finish line. The next step is to put this whole program together, avoid the equipment failures and go win races. That is where Premiere Motorsports Group comes in. They really have it together and with Hart and Huntington, Black Rhino, and Gear One backing my program, the package will be complete." Ryan is set up for battle and to take the podium under the lights at Glen Helen. "I am really pumped up. We are going to put our best foot forward aiming for the podium. One thing is for certain though, we are going to put on an awesome show for the fans of short course racing."
