Godfather Privateer Racing Looking For Sponsors

AMA
Supercross Privateer Program, Godfather Privateer Racing,

Looking
For Sponsors

For
the past 10 years, AMA privateer race program general manager, Gus
Decker, has been helping professional supercross and motocross riders
fulfill on their dreams of pursuing a career in professional AMA
racing. Gus is well respected in the “pits” and because of his
unrelenting passion to “take care of his family of racers”, he
has fondly been nicknamed the Godfather
of Privateer

racing.

Gus
and his privateer support team will again be set up in the pits at
Anaheim 1 and through each stop of the 2012 AMA Supercross season.
The program is changing their name however from Team Gus, to
Godfather
Privateer Racing
to
fall in line with how Gus runs his program.

The
Godfather
Privateer Racing

brings a unique approach to support, with a 100ft. long behemoth that
is designed to support up to 20 riders at a time. Gus will be taking
several riders and their equipment to each round of the series.
Furthermore, any privateer in need of support at the races is
welcomed to set up under the giant tent, and will be provided with
drinks and food and will have use of the team mechanic if they do not
already have their own. Any rider in need of transportation to and
from the races can ride along in the team motorhome to help save on
travel expenses.

For
the 2012 SX as well as at each of the 12 stops for the National
Outdoor series, Gus is looking to work with corporate sponsors that
would like to work with this fantastic grass-roots program and see
this is as a chance to give back to the sport by supporting the core
riders that will do anything to get to the races. Godfather Privateer
Racing will be set up at all 17 SX and 12 MX stops, and interacting
with moto-enthusiasts & fans all year long.

Bell
Helmets national sales manager, Matt Schumann, had this to say about
the program; “We sponsor many riders at the top level of the sport,
but Bell also knows that being involved with privateer programs like
Godfather Privateer Racing, helps keep our brand and products
connected with the core of dirt bike racing.

For
more information on joining the Godfather Privateer Racing effort, be
sure to contact Gus Decker at 209-747-2011. There is still plenty of
sponsorship space available on the team rig, inside and on the tent,
100’awning (10ft x 20ft x 80 on top of the tent), so for any
company interested in supporting these up and coming privateers,
please contact Pride Marketing Group’s Mike Lyons at 760-224-8477.

A
special thanks goes to Motocross Direct.com, Bell Helmets,
Motoconcepts, AutoFlex
Systems, Inc., Baker Roofing, Husker Off Road, DT1 Air Filters, ODI
grips, Vacaville Auto Body, and Blazin Wheels Ministries & Racing
for
already stepping in for support.
