Galfer USA's Jason Anderson Holds onto 250 West Points Lead with Second in Seattle

The Monster Energy AMA Supercross season visited Seattle, Washington, on Saturday for round 15, and Galfer USA-sponsored Jason Anderson retained his points lead in 250 West on board his Rockstar Energy Racing KTM. In the 450 main, Andrew Short and Mike Alessi ensured that Galfer USA was represented in the top ten.

Andrew Short was, as usual, inside the top ten. He finished eighth in Seattle on board the No. 29 BTO Sports KTM 450 SX-F. Short has been one of the most consistent riders all season, finishing lower than tenth only one time in 15 races.

Moto Concepts rider Mike Alessi had another solid night in the 450 main, bringing home 10th on his No. 800 Suzuki RM-Z450. Alessi held down sixth during the first five laps.

After finishing near the back of the pack in the past two races, Weston Peick’s form was back to normal. He rode his No. 40 Peick Racing Suzuki RM-Z450 to 11th.

The Privateer Journey’s Nick Schmidt was 14th on the No. 415 Honda CRF 450, while Dirt Candy’s Ronnie Stewart was 17th on the No. 606 Suzuki RM-Z450.

Rockstar Energy Racing’s Jason Anderson held onto his 250 West points lead with a second-place finish in the 250 main. He had to play catch-up in the opening laps, and he eventually moved into second on his No. 17 KTM 250 SX-F. Anderson crashed and dropped to third, but he managed to reclaim second before the checkered flag.

Jake Canada continued his top-ten streak, taking eighth for 51 Fifty on his No. 66 Honda CRF 250. Canada was also eighth last week in Houston, Texas, and his consistency has helped him break into the top ten in points.

Dakota Tedder also repeated his Houston results, finishing 12th on the No. 83 Team Tedder Kawasaki KX 250F. Slaton Racing’s Preston Mull was 14th on the No. 565 Yamaha YZ250F.
