GNCC Racing's Forsberg and Mastin to Compete in X Games Enduro X Debut This Sunday

Los Angeles, Calif. (July 29, 2011) - Six of the
nation's fastest women are set to compete this weekend in the first-ever
Enduro X event at X Games 17. Defending Can-Am Grand National Cross
Country Series Champion Maria Forsberg will race alongside 2010 GNCC
runner-up Amanda Mastin for a chance to take home the 2011 X Games 17
Enduro X Gold Medal. Ashley Crouch, who currently sits in second place
in GNCC points, will be on hand as an alternate in case another rider is
not able to participate.

The Enduro X course will consist of obstacles made of dirt, logs,
boulders, water areas, and even tractor tires. Basically, Sunday's
event will incorporate the most grueling obstacles that a normal enduro
would include over nearly one hundred miles, and condense it into a
stadium-style race inside the Staples Center.

"I'm really excited to be here! I've raced Endurocross before and I
really enjoy it. Racing GNCC has definitely prepared me for the
technical aspects of Enduro X and I think it has taught me how to look
ahead and choose smart lines through tough obstacles ahead," said
Forsberg. "I think I've trained as hard as I can and I can only do the
best that I can do."

"I've never ridden Endurocross before but I think with the GNCC and
other off-road racing I've done, I'll be able to use similar techniques
and riding skills in the Enduro X," said Mastin. "I'm really excited;
it should be a fun time!"

You can watch the Moto X Enduro X LIVE on ESPN at 9:15 p.m. EST
Sunday night-beginning with Men's Enduro X qualifying, followed by the
Men's and Women's Final at 9:30 p.m. EST. To view the full television
