LAS VEGAS INTERNATIONAL OFF ROAD RACEWAY - MAY 17TH AND 18TH
LOS ANGELES, CA (MAY 20, 2008) - Freestyle motocross icon Brian Deegan ran two great races this weekend, May 17th and 18th, at the Championship Off Road Racing's (CORR) second series stop at the Las Vegas International Off Road Raceway, Primm, Nevada.
Competing in just his second weekend of pro racing aboard a Rockstar Makita backed 400 horsepower Ford Pro-Lite truck, in Round 3 Deegan earned a hard fought 6th after coming from a back of the pack 23rd place start. Sunday's Round 4 brought about a 9th place finish which now puts the-just-turned-pro Deegan 9th in the overall points standings out of a Pro-Lite field of 28.
Deegan had this to say, “I bought a practice truck on my own dime and spent a lot of time this past week testing. Each time I get onto the track I feel like I am learning and improving. This week I broke into the top-10 and next time out I'm hoping to make top-5.”
