Filtron Air and Oil Filters Brand Relaunches

Valencia, Calif. – During the 1960’s, Filtron Air Filters were used by the likes of AMA Hall of Famers Dave Ekins and J.N. Roberts. In 1967, the Husqvarna and CZ Factory Motocross teams began using Filtron Air Filters and soon Filtron became the brand leader in aftermarket Foam Air Filter Elements.

Today, MX legends Bob Hannah, Hall of Famer Dave Ekins, along with Eddie Cole - founder of Answer Products, Pro-Taper and SIXSIXONE, and Greg Berg VP of Sunline Brand Development, are partnering with the top race teams to bring the Filtron Brand back using the latest technology in Oil and Air Filter systems for today’s off-road racers.

Filtron will offer two types of pre-oiled filters. The Sprint system includes 2 Filtron Ultra Performance Air Filters. The UltrAir system includes 1 Filtron Fused 2 stage filter, coarse foam outer with fine foam inner. Both systems are pre-oiled with Maxima FFT oil and include disposable gloves.

Filtron will also offer a complete line of oil filter systems. The Performance Paper OEM system includes 2 disposable quality paper element filtration oil filters that exceed OEM standards. The Performance Stainless Steel system includes 1 stainless steel reusable filter. The filter incorporates a fine Swiss-made stainless filter cloth, filters particles as small as 35 microns and can be cleaned with contact cleaner.

In addition, Filtron will offer a complete line of oil and air filter accessories including foam filter treatment oil, draining systems, oil fill systems and other accessories.
