Effective: January 1st 2007

Oceanside, California - FTM Enterprises Inc. will officially change its corporate name to RK EXCEL America, Inc. effective January 1, 2007. Frank Miyake will remain as President until December 2010, or until the date he chooses to retire. The new company will continue to operate from the same current offices and warehouse.

History of FTM:
In September of 1977, Frank Miyake founded FTM as a Manufacturer’s Rep organization, but with the capability of providing hands-on Marketing designed to enhance the entry and sales of new products that can successfully provide sell-through results into the burgeoning motorcycle parts aftermarket. In line with this, we at RK EXCEL America are proud to continue with, and attempt to enhance our relationships with Fram and Autolite of the Honeywell Group, and with Ken Sean Mirrors and Napoleon Mirrors as well. We will endeavor to grow their business along with ours.

Beginning of RK EXCEL Relationship:
In October of 1980 FTM became the exclusive Sales and Marketing arm for RK Takasago Chain and later in 1986 assumed the same responsibilities for Takasago Excel Rims. The two Japanese companies later merged to become RK EXCEL Co., Ltd. in 1989, when their parent company Nippon Steel restructured the two Takasago Steel companies into the single RK EXCEL entity. Since then RK EXCEL has evolved into one of the world’s prime OEM and Aftermarket manufacturers of Drive Chains and off-road Aluminum Racing Wheelsets, Rims and Spoke Sets.

New Shareholders:
The shareholders of the new RK EXCEL America will be led by RK EXCEL Japan, and joined by minority shareholders Carat srl, Italy and Mitsuboshi Boeki Ltd., Japan. FYI, Carat is a leading Sales and Distribution company in Europe providing both OEM and Aftermarket Sales and Service for RK EXCEL Japan. Mitsuboshi is a leading Trading Company (part of the Mitsuboshi Belting Group) with strong manufacturing and sales channels throughout Asia, Europe, and the Americas. FTM and the companies have been working together for several years now, with this new venture specifically designed to key on the further development and expansion of current and new products into this ever growing Global Marketplace.

Current Management Group:
In support of Frank, the new company will continue to rely on FTM’s seasoned leadership coming from: Kipp McGowan - Sales Manager, Farrah Bauer - Advertising/Marketing Manager, GT Gary Taylor - Product/Purchasing Manager, and Susan Kelly - Office/Communications Manager.
