FMF Brings Home the Gold at X

Los Angeles, Ca – FMF riders brought home Gold Medals in both Moto X Best Trick and Moto X Womens Racing at the 2008 Summer X Games. Kyle Loza landed the first ever “Electric Doom” to take the 2008 X Games gold medal in Best Trick in front of a sold out crowd in Staples Center. With his own unique style, Loza impressed the judges on his first run and scored a 94.4, which held up thru the competition to take the gold medal for the second year in a row. In 2007 Loza debuted “The Vault” and has since progressed the sport of freestyle motocross to new heights.

FMF Racing’s Tarah Gieger won the inaugural Womens Moto X race at Home Depot Center. Gieger looked great in practice and was looking forward to racing supercross for the first time. In fact, she looked so comfortable that she was tripling sections that none of her competition had even attempted. Once Gieger got into the lead she rode steady and threw a huge whip over the finish to take home her first ever X Games gold medal!

FMF’s Ronnie Renner had a very successful X Games this past weekend. Renner competed in Speed and Style as well as Step Up, coming away with two silver medals. It wasn’t easy however, in Speed and Style practice Renner went down hard but was able to come back swinging and take a silver medal.

Inside Staples Center Renner won another silver medal in Moto X Step Up behind Ricky Carmichael. FMF’s Tommy Clowers took the bronze medal.

Congratulations to all the FMF athletes from everyone at FMF Racing!
