Press Release

Entries Are Open for Kenda Tennessee Knockout!

Free entries for qualified expert-pro riders

Sequatchie, TN (June 28, 2011)
– The Kenda Tennessee Knockout is a new “American Extreme Enduro” that
will take place at the Trials Training Center in Tennessee on August 28th.
So if you have always wanted to compete in or watch one of the Extreme
Enduro’s that you have read about or see videos of from Europe, now is
your chance. Entries are free for qualified Expert/Pro riders
(EnduroCross, GNCC, OMA, National Enduro, WORCS, etc.) and there is a
nearly $10,000 purse for the top ten finishers.

There
will be amateur classes on Saturday competing on a tamed down course
and those riders will get the opportunity to qualify for the Sunday
Expert final with a free entry. All Saturday participants also get a
free entry to watch the Sunday Expert finals.

The
Sunday expert event will feature a multi round “Knockout” format. Each
round will be different as the riders will race against the clock in
some rounds and head to head in others and they will do so on both short
and long courses consisting of extremely difficult terrain. All of the
action is designed to be very spectator-friendly with easy viewing
access to many of the most challenging sections.

This
exciting, spectator-friendly event should attract extensive media
attention and is conveniently taking place just two days after round
three of the GEICO EnduroCross series in nearby Indianapolis, Indiana.
Throttle Entertainment will be on location to film the event for their
upcoming television series, "Enduro Kings." This new show documents the
world of Extreme Enduro and the riders who compete in this difficult and
demanding sport. In addition to the TV series, Throttle Entertainment
will also be filming TKO for segments in their new "Man and Machine"
Extreme Enduro DVD series that comes out in 2012.
