April 21, 2008 (Pebble Beach, CA) – Rising women’s motocross star and Red Bull athlete, Ashley Fiolek, will be featured on Tuesday’s edition of E:60, a primetime news magazine show produced by ESPN. The show airs on ESPN Tuesday April 22, at 7pm EST, 4pm PST.
ESPN camera crews filmed Ashley in action at the Oakhill, TX motocross race in late March that featured a number of top Women’s Motocross Association (WMA) Championship racers making final preparations in anticipation of the 2008 WMA Championship. The WMA kicks off May 31 in Sacramento, CA at the 40th Annual Honda Hangtown Classic.
About Ashley Fiolek
Born profoundly deaf, Ashley began riding and racing motorcycles at age seven and worked her way up the amateur motocross ranks. In 2004, at the age of 13, she won her first national championship at the Air Nautiques AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships at Loretta Lynn’s. Ashley made her professional debut in September 2007 at the Women’s Motocross Association (WMA) Steel City, PA round where she finished an amazing fifth place overall.
