Durhamtown - DP Update

Great Memorial Day Weekend! Thanks to everyone who came out this past weekend. The poker run was a great success for an 8 year old; Dusty Martin winning 1st place of $300 for the best poker hand with a full house. We had 130 entries this time everyone got two tries at the 8-ball on the pool table, 3 tries on the corn hole/washers board, 2 tries on the pistol range and 2 tries on the rifle range. Approx. 30% won bonus cards and got to experience all 5 corners of DP by Bike, ATV or UTV. This was a great family experience for everyone! The Poker Run is one of the ways we give back to the customers with 100% cash pay back and over $2500 in prizes given away. Every entry won a prize and we will do it again July 4th weekend. Special thanks to everyone who came up and showed their appreciation for the prizes. We will be giving more prizes at these types of events in the future due to the appreciation we received. I left the back porch with a big smile on my face as well! 

The GP Track Fun Races were a blast for all that raced and there was one really fast ATV out there no one could touch him! We will do more of these on Saturdays for fun! Bar-be-que Buffet was a big hit we actually ran out with a larger crowd than expected. Some were even taking pictures of the food display. Had great reviews to the girls in the kitchen and the Grill Master Mike Wynn.

The new Bath House is coming along approx. 2 more weeks to have it open with separated men’s and women’s areas. Featuring 8 showers on each side, with separate toilets and sinks with mirrors for the ladies.

Bike2Bike Race is this weekend the Bomber Track will be closed from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm for 3 hours. The bicycles will be off the track by 11:00 am, then onto the paved road for 20 miles of road racing.

Impulse Festival JUNE 15-16-17, DP riding will still be open as usual the Bomber track, the Flat Track and Drag strip will be closed for the concerts and campers. A 40 ft. pyramid will be constructed in center of the flat track with lots of LASERS.

There will be 8-Days of racing coming July 4th weekend, starting on Saturday June 30. Best in Georgia Series MX racing Saturday & Sunday (Bomber Track), concert by Brandon Mayes on Saturday night & concert with Coombs Sunday night. Durhamtown Racing will be on Supercross/Mx1 on Monday & Tuesday. Poker Run, Fireworks & More Live Music on Wednesday night. Gary Denton ATV Racing will be on Thursday & Friday. East Coast Off road Racing Series for Jeeps / Off Road truck/ Utv will be on Friday. More live music Saturday night. 

We have SUMMER SPECIALS starting July 9 thru Aug 30. Buy one day ride pass and get next day free Sunday – Thursday. Cabins are 25% off Sunday nights – Thursday nights. RV sites $20/$25 per night 30/50 amp.

We also use 2-stroke motor oil for deer attractant and Peeing around the stand is suggested.... all of this is everyday activities for our wildlife and they are not afraid of it, they are afraid of camouflage...!!!!!!! We do have some of the best hunting in the south and have the proof to back it up... on the wall and photos.
