Dunlop Riders Blitz Top Spots at World Mini Grand Prix

Buffalo,
NY:
Dunlop congratulates Team Dunlop’s 2011 World Mini Grand Prix Champions Stilez
Robertson, Garrett Marchbanks, Brandy Richards, Tanner Stack, Mark Worth,
Michael Mosiman, Jordon Smith and Chase Bell. The talented Team Dunlop squad performed
tremendously aboard their Geomax-fitted race machines at the World Mini Grand
Prix held in Mesquite, NV, on April 11-17, racking up 12 national titles. In
addition to Team Dunlop’s excellent results, a strong showing by other Dunlop-equipped
racers garnered 23 championships for a combined total of 35 national titles by
Dunlop riders.

Robertson
made a stellar return to racing after suffering an injury earlier in the year,
clinching five titles at the week-long event. He dominated the 50cc-65cc-competition
winning the 50 Pee Wee Stock and Mod 7-8 titles, plus the Super Pee Wee Mod 6-9
Championship and taking both 65 Jr Cycle Stock and Mod 6-8 victories. Richards swept
the 65-85 Girls 2 Stroke Championship; Stack clinched the 85 Stock Thru 11
title, while Worth won both 85/150 Mod 12-13 motos en route to the title win.
Smith nabbed the 85/150 Mod 14-16 Championship, while Mosiman swept the 85 Mod
Thru 11 Championship and Bell took the Supermini Thru 13 title.

“I
can’t speak highly enough about Team Dunlop’s outstanding performance at the
World Minis,”
said
Primo Marotto, Dunlop's Manager Amateur Motocross Support. “Stilez Robertson
made an incredible return to racing, winning five titles, and it was fantastic
that over half of the Team Dunlop squad competing at the World Mini Grand Prix
won championships. In addition to the 12 wins, Team Dunlop racers finished on
an additional 17 podiums bringing the team’s total podium finishes to 29. The
level of competition at amateur
national
events is extremely high, and for the team to be able to perform so well at one
event is a great achievement.
With more than 80-percent of the champions choosing to race
on Dunlop's Geomax range of tires, Dunlop outperformed all other brands at the
event.”
