Duells International SX & FMX‏



It was a double French victory when the 2010 Duells International
Supercross and Freestyle show was held at Ullevi stadium in
Gothenburg/Sweden

At the top of the podium was Michael Musquin and in
second place countryman Fabien Izoird. In third place ended American
Suzuki rider Ryan Morais.




Musquin, brother of the recently MX2 world champion Marvin Musquin, took
over the lead from swede Jonathan Dahlgren on the first lap and held
the position to the finish line.

- With this kind of track the start
is very important thing and I got a really good start in the finals,
said Musquin after his victory.


Initially chasing American Josh Hansen - Kawasaki looked strong when
he suddenly decided to swing by and leave the arena, there was
speculation that acute stomach problems ...


Swedish rider Rasmus
Sjoberg - KTM-JE MX Racing Team, finished in sixth place after having
been 2nd in the semifinal after Josh Hansen




Other Swedes in the final was 9'a Jonathan Dahlgren, Fredrik Karlsson 11'a, Bjorn Andersson 13'e.

Swedish international rider Andreas Hultman not reached the finals when he crashed in the semis and beat the shoulder.

FMX riders who were invited, as usual, offered in a cruel show with his breathtaking stunts.







Spaniard Dany Torres won, 88 points out of maximum 90, Norwegian André Villa was second with 86 points.

Last year's winner Fredrik "Fredd" Johansson finished 4th with 78 points.

This year's 85cc finale was won by Emil Jonsson / Honda Racing CEC with Norwegian Lasse Christoffersen / Yamaha to second place.
