Drew Askew is teaming up with Steve Hollingsworth to put on two one-day motocross schools in September. He is trying to raise money to race the BooKoo Areanacross series.
If you would like to help Drew and become a better, safer, faster rider--now's your chance!
The schools are Saturday, September 22nd, at Double X Motocross Park and Sunday, September 23rd, at Mill Creek.
The Mill Creek class will be held on the GP track which will be closed to other riders during the school. The main track will be open for practice the day of the school.
The entry fee is $150 per student per day and the schools are open to riders of all ages and ability. Assisting Drew with the class will be veteran instructor Steve Hollingsworth.
What will be covered:
- Rider fitness and preparation
- Proper use of the controls
- Rider positioning
- Braking, acceleration and turns
- Proper jumping technique
- Starts
How long will it last:
- From 8:30am until 3pm each day
What will I need to bring?
- Your bike
- A sturdy stand that can support you and the bike
- All safety gear
- Drinks and lunch
