Dragon Racing Fuels Indianapolis Race Report

Presented by GOLDfren Brakes

Indianapolis, IN
– With a couple of solid races under his belt, Dragon Racing Fuels/AG
Motorsports KTM rider Justin Starling was looking to improve upon his
Daytona results with a solid
ride in Indianapolis. However, the injury bug struck again for the team
and Starling went down hard half-way through the final practice session
and injured his knee. Starling could not return to the track after
qualifying for the night show and will head to
the doctor on Monday for further tests. More details will be available
this week.

The
team’s attention was now solely focused on rookie David Buller. Having
qualified for his first Monster Energy AMA Supercross, Buller had his
work cut out for him. When the gate dropped in
Heat 2, Buller got a great start and held his line before giving it up
as the pack pushed him outside after the first turn and then lost his
momentum. Having to battle from the back, 6 laps was not enough time to
work his way back towards the front and into
the top 9. In the LCQ, Buller had a bad start and never recovered,
sending him to the stands for the Main Event.

This
week at the Spring Classic at Mill Creek in Alabama, Dragon Racing
Fuels/AG Motorsports/Cernics KTM National Amateur Team had a solid week
with Colton Ford and Keith Tucker.

Keith
Tucker took his Dragon Racing Fuels/AG Motorsports powered KTM to the
podium in the Super Mini 2 class going (3)(3)(3) for 2nd overall. In the Open Amateur 2 Stroke class, Tucker
went (6)(5)(2) giving him 4th overall.

Colton
Ford had a consistent week aboard his Dragon Racing Fuels/AG
Motorsports powered KTM. In the Schoolboy 2 class, Colton went (6)(5)(5)
for a 4th overall and in the 250 B Mod
class went (6)(5) for 5th overall.
