Dodge, Sycuan Casino, Hart and Huntington, Bel-Ray Racing Supercross Team New Orleans Race Report

Carlsbad,
CA (April 16, 2012) - The
Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana played host to
Round 14 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross this past Saturday night.
The Dodge, Sycuan Casino, Hart and Huntington, Bel-Ray Racing
Supercross Team was happy to welcome Ivan Tedesco back to the track;
who joined Kyle Regal in the lineup this weekend.

After
ten weeks out due to his finger injury, Ivan Tedesco #9 finally got
clearance from his doctors to ride just days prior to the race. After
having only a couple days to prepare, he was riding well in Heat 2,
and was in a position to make the main event when he stalled his bike
in a technical section of the track. Unable to restart quickly, he
was forced to enter the last chance qualifier. Unfortunately, he LCQ
wasn’t much better for Tedesco, as he missed a qualifying position
and did not make the main event.

Teammate
Kyle Regal #36 rode really well in Heat 1, finishing in 7^th
place. He qualified directly for the main event and raced to a 17th
place finish.

The next Monster Energy AMA Supercross
race will be held this Saturday, April 21st at in Seattle, Washington
at Qwest Field.
