DeCal Works Happy To Move East With MDK/WWR Program

Kingston, IL (February 21, 2008) – With the 2008 AMA Monster Energy Supercross series moving East, DeCal Works, a primary sponsor of the MDK/Wonder Warthog Racing team for 2008, has completed the design and decal kits of the team's bikes.

With Heath Voss still leading the MDK/WWR pack; the East Coast round of the 2008 AMA Monster Energy Supercross series will see the addition of Chris Gosselaar in the Supercross class. Lil’ Goose will be racing all East Coast rounds on a Honda CRF450R thanks to the support of MB2, Pro Circuit, Troy Lee Designs and NLA.

The other big and hot addition to the team comes with the return of Ryan Mills in the AMA SX series. Ryan will be racing the East Coast Lite with the MDK/WWR team, alongside Lites teammates Tyson Hadsell and TJ Tiffany.

‘Hot Prospect’ Jase Lewis was supposed to be the 4th East Coast Lites rider lining up at Atlanta but got sidelined yesterday when he unfortunately hurt his collarbone in practice. Jase will be out for 3 weeks, hoping to come back for the last rounds.

“With the arrival of Supercross close to home and the upcoming Midwest rounds, DeCal Works is very busy and very happy with the results achieved until now” said DeCal Works honcho, Ro Joynt. “The East Coast is going to be very good this year and we can assure you that DeCal will be behind the team all the way. We have some great riders in the lineup, it is very rewarding!”

Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) is a unique organization which was formed to help the under resourced privateers to race with non-traditional forms of support for their careers. The Wonder Warthog Foundation has distributed several hundred thousand dollars in resources since its inception and has been run as a completely volunteer effort, being supported by many of the top racers in the sport of motocross including Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart and companies like MDK, Smooth Industries and DeCal Works. WWR, who’s founders Scott Kandel and Steve Bauer won the Clear Channel Motorsports Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2004, is regarded by the promoters, governing bodies, riders, and fans as one of the most benevolent and charitable groups to ever help the sport.
