Daniel Blair Signs Up for 2011 Privateer Challenge

LAS VEGAS – November 22, 2011 – Daniel Blair of Lodi, California, among other Top Privateer Supercross Racers, have signed up to race the 2011 Las Vegas SX: Privateer Challenge at Boulder City Motocross on December 3.

"Any excuse to come race in Vegas and I am there," says Blair. "[I] heard the track is awesome and I hope to grab a big chunk of that $10,000 purse and put my Airide Suspension 450 on the podium."
The unique event offers an opportunity for the industry's top and up and coming privateers to get some well-deserved exposure, track time on a full-sized supercross track, and some extra money to help them get through the off-season and into the 2012 race year. With a new racing format and limited entries, the open-style Pro Class is filling fast.

"It's great to see guys like Daniel sign up. He's the epitome of the rider that this event is structured around and we're thrilled that we'll be seeing him bang bars for the $10,000 we have up for grabs," says Bryce Davis, facility manager at Boulder City Motocross. "This year, we have a lot of fast guys entered to race, and with guys like Chris Gosselaar and Top Privateer Sean Borkenhagen showing up last year; it should make for a great show."

Sign-ups are still open for Saturday's pro event that is limited to 53 riders. Entries are open to all pro riders, and an AMA Pro Card is not required. Online signups are also open for Sunday's Amateur racing.
