His teammate Josh Grant finished 14th overall after getting caught up in an  unfortunate crash early in the second 450 Moto that would leave him to finish 19th. In the first 450 Moto, however, Grant rode to a solid top-10 finishing eighth.

Leading up to the two 450 class Motos, Grant finished his Group A first qualifying practice 13th fastest with a lap time of 2:09.587. Chisholm, who was also in Group A finished his first qualifying practice ninth fastest with a lap time of 2:08.869. After the drop of the gates in the fist 450 Moto, Grant fell in line 16th but would go on to pick off eight spots throughout the race where he would settle into the eighth spot in the closing laps. Chisholm fell in line 11th out of the gates and would hold that spot until he was able to make a late pass to grab 10th before the checkered flag waved giving the DNA Energy Drink / Jeff Ward Racing team two  top-10 finishes. In the second 450 Moto, Grant got a good start out of the gates and was in the mix battling for a top-5 spot early during lap one but unfortunately got caught up in a crash when Kyle Regal went down in front of him then he and Alessi tangled trying to avoid Regal sending both of them to the ground. Once Grant collected himself he was second from last but charged as hard as he could from there to regain some spots to finish 19th. Chisholm managed to avoid any on-track mishaps and ride a clean race to finish in the 11th position. Grant’s 14th
overall finish moves him back one spot to seventh in the championship standings with 73 points. Chisholm’s 10th overall finish moves him up three spots to 10th in the standings with 50 points.
