DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX’s JT$ Impresses at Red Bud

Buchanan, MI - On a beautiful day that saw America celebrate its independence, the DNA Energy Drink/BTO Sports.com/BBMX team celebrated its independence from a factory engine as Jason “JT$” pulled off a couple of great starts on his WMI-tuned CRF450. It was round six of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championships and it was taking place at the historic Redbud Track N Trail. The whole team was excited to be there celebrating America and all it stands for, even our wetback Canadian mechanic!

Thomas was up front in both motos and ride hard all race to eventually end up with 12-15 scores which was good for 13th overall. It was JT’s best race of the outdoors and we’re happy for the little guy. He’s going to be rewarded by being allowed to stay out until 10 o’clock now, which is big boy time!

Our other rider Kyle “long legged mack daddy” Keylon was on fire this weekend coming off his finish at Lakewood and it showed in his practice times & his moto speed. Kyle was blazing a trail towards the top 10 in moto one, when he suffered a front wheel blow out off the infamous Larocco's Leap. In the second moto, Kyle was up to 12th spot at the 20 min. mark, when he had some health issues that sidelined him for the remainder of the day. “I’m happy to celebrate America and I’m happy that JT rode his balls off to represent us and our sponsors well” said team manager Forrest Butler “and not necessary in that order.”
