DMXS – Happy Anniversary To Us!

DMXS Radio celebrates its 7th anniversary this week and we have a ginormous show planned to celebrate. We have had a lot of fun along the way and want to thank our loyal listeners for all their support. We still can’t afford high-definition, but have recently upgraded our show to medium-definition for your listening pleasure. Thanks for the ride and we hope to keep on truckin’ for many years to come.

Factory Suzuki’s Roger Decoster has had his share of success over the last few years, but the retirement of Ricky Carmichael left a difficult void to fill. Roger is used to adversity and is hard at work building his new team as we all adjust to MX, post-RC.

Yamaha’s Grant Langston was on top of the world with a MX championship, US Open win, and tons of momentum going into the SX season, but he must have used up all his luck at the tables in Vegas. GL has experienced nearly every possible situation to jack up a tile run this season, but he always finds the silver lining. We look forward to hearing an update and when he will be back on the gate.

Aldon Baker has an impressive pedigree of riders and drivers under his care and recently added James Stewart last year. Unfortunately, James underwent surgery to repair his injured knee but that does not mean they are not hard at work to get him back to 100%. Aldon will give us the latest on himself and his star athletes.

Davey Coombs and the Racer X crew are celebrating their 10th anniversary and we could not be more happy for them. DC has been behind our fledgling show from the beginning and believed in us when few people did. He will be on to bench-race and reminisce over a decade of MX history through the prism of his magazine.

Factory Suzuki’s David Vuillemin came into the season hurt, but Le Cobra has so far toughed it out even while sustaining more injuries. Very few riders race completely pain free, but if DV were a football player, he would be on the injured-reserve list. Check out www.DV12.com for constant updates and info on the Factory rider.

Motosport / Xtreme / Kawasaki’s Tommy Hahn has had a great SX Lites season so far including two podiums. Some were quick to write him off after a rocky season last year, but the tough Texan is proving them wrong and will be on to set the record straight.

Suzuki’s Mike Gosselaar has lost two riders in six months and is taking some much needed time off, but the ultra-competitive wrench will be back in action soon. He will be joining us tonight from a secure, secret vacation spot. We love ya Goose!

CBS / Speed’s Erin Bates is not only damn fine, but is damn fine at her job as well. The restraining order has expired so we were able to call her again and she was sweet enough to forget about the past. Thanks, Erin and give your cool husband Andy a kiss for us.
