Press Release

DMXS 2/7

Josh Grant was supposed to challenge Ryan Villopoto for a championship this year, but a crash during practice at the opening round left the young rider injured and with a new goal of just finishing the season strong. After not earning any points for the first two races, JG has finished on the podium the last three rounds and is back to his preseason speed. There have been some on-track controversies as well, and Josh has taken some hits from the fans. But these kids are hungry and maturity will certainly come with time. You will hear it in his own words tonight.

Mike Gosselaar is the GOAT in his own right by faithfully spinning wrenches for RC through perfect seasons and multiple championships on different teams. Goose is the standard in our sport, and the humble soft-spoken man does his job behind the scenes as he prefers. As RC prepares for the next chapter in his racing career, we will catch up with Mike and hear his plans for the future as he looks back on what he and his team have accomplished.

Larry Brooks had the balls to leave his stable job at KTM and start his own team this year with Yamaha, Reed, and Ramsey. The sport’s history is full of failed solo efforts, but that did little in deterring him from taking the leap. Larry is accomplished in his own right and well respected throughout the pits, but his teams’ success or failure would carve out its own history. They made a huge statement with their win in Toronto and even though Chad came into A1 injured, there is no sign of letting up the pressure on Stewart as the team prepares for a season long battle. Larry is one of our favorite guests for his straightforward and no-bullshit style, so put the kids to bed for this one. You can check out some great interviews of Reed and Ramsey over at www.vitalmx.com

Darcy "Clubber" Lange just wrapped up the BooKoo AX Championship last week in balmy Minneapolis, but he hopes to really cash in this week at the U.S Open of AX as more than $200,000 will be awarded. This race just edged out the Bremen Race Park AX World Domination Cage Match Championship as the richest AX purse ever. Darcy is also rumored to have secured the sports most coveted Lite’s ride with Pro Circuit for the East coast series. We will ask him directly about that, and what is was like in grammar school with a name like, Darcy. You can watch the race live at www.racearenacross.com

Colt "45" Humphrey on the Fiberwise Pasta/ Sano / PPG / Motion Cycle Yamaha will join us as well from the BooKoo series. I think we can all use a little more fiber in our diet while supporting a sponsor that helps the sport. The Larry Huffman one-liners write themselves, but its cool to see outside sponsors getting involved.

WWR welcomes on Hog Haven rider, Antonio Balbi and Hog Haven Rider/Coach, Justin Maley on the show tonight. Also, Jeff Tomlinson will join us to describe the logistics involved in getting the massive team from place to place. Power to the Privateer! Check out their new site.
