DC Welcomes Tommy Searle to its Exclusive Motocross Team

January 8, 2010 – (Vista, CA) – DC is proud to announce that pro motocross athlete Tommy Searle has joined the DC Motocross Team. Tommy joins an elite team of motocross legends and young up and comers including Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael, Nate Adams, Robbie Maddison, Travis Pastrana, Jolene Van Vugt, Davi Millsaps, Josh Hill, Adam Cianciarulo, Ian Trettel, Zach Bell, and Chase Bell. “We’re happy to welcome Tommy to the DC family,” said Brian Cassaro, DC’s Action Sports Marketing Director. “He was one of the fastest Lites riders last year, so it was hard to miss him on the track. He fits in great with the team and we’re looking forward seeing him succeed this season.”

Born and raised in England, the 20-year-old learned to ride at the age of six and has yet to slow down. He turned pro in 2005 and raced in Europe before moving to the United States in 2009. Look for Tommy to race in the AMA Supercross Lites west series and the entire AMA Motocross Championship outdoor series for the 2010 season.

“Growing up racing in Europe, I always wanted to be on the DC motocross team,” said Tommy. “So to have come to the US and be fortunate enough to join the team, I am stoked. Being on the same team as guys like McGrath, Pastrana and Carmichael is a dream come true and I can’t wait for the season to start.”
