Press Release

Carmichael / Grant / Hibbert / Patterson / Beams / Shift / Fox / Fan Call-Ins on DMXS Tonight!

Monster Energy’s Ricky Carmichael has left the building, but the 15-time champion is never very far from the sport he helped build into what it is today. RC currently sits in the top 10 in points in the Camping World East Series and continues to impress the NASCAR faithful as his ascent into the 4-wheeled racing world continues. We will catch up with the champ and get his take on everything from Lakewood, J-Law V. Dungey, to the up coming X-Games where he will be competing in two events.

Geico Powersports / Honda’s Josh Grant has been sidelined so far this season but came out with some impressive speed in practice and a podium at his first race back. Josh always makes for a straight-shooting interview and will join us tonight.

Monster Energy’s Tucker Hibbert has gone 1-1 the past two motocross races in Canada and backed that up with his best career AMA outdoor finish with an 11th place Lites finish in the second moto in that sweltering heat. Tucker is well-known for his domination on a sled in the Winter X-Games, but his recent finishes show he still has something to prove on a dirtbike, too. We welcome back our friend and the fastest resident from Thief River Falls, Minnesota.

Bad Boy Power Drink / Honda’s Jessica Patterson was just recently nominated for the 2008 ESPN ESPY Award for Best Female Action Sports Athlete. We have known JP$ for many years and she has been one of the pioneers in women’s motocross racing. Go to www.espys.tv to vote for one of our own.

Motoendurance.net’s Robb Beams is a regular on our show and his knowledgeable training advice is always welcomed by our listeners. Robb will be calling in tonight with tips on riding in the summer heat and impressing your girlfriend with one-armed pushups. If there is time, Robb will start his three part nutrition series, Flatulence: It’s Not Just a Guy Thing.

Shift Racing’s Rob Salcedo heard some great things about their 2009 lineup that debuted at Thunder Valley race and will be on to discuss the current design trend. Shift has always been a renegade company like us and we like their rebel attitude. Check out www.shiftracing.com for the latest gear.

Fox Boot Camp is a touring rig that visits local tracks and lets riders try out all their gear in actual riding conditions. Frank Ippolito is the man behind the scenes and will let us know about the tour and some upcoming stops. You can check out the blog and some pics from the trip at www.foxbootcamp.com
