Cairoli Gives Sidi Sport Another Magic Triumph

In the Czech Republic the Italian ace clinches his 50th GP

Maser (Treviso), 06 August, 2012 – After a short summer break, the motocross World Championship series returned with the Czech Republic GP. The reigning category MX1 championship is back just the way we left it, with just one man firmly in command, the number one in world motocross, Tony Cairoli.

On the Czech circuit in Loket, in spite of the suffocating heat, Cairoli raced in his usual manner, entertaining the crowds and enjoying himself  while laying down his law from the first lap to the last. The result was a double and final victory in the Grand Prix. With an impressive pace the champion from Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MX1 ceded the places of honour to Frenchman Christophe Pourcel and Belgian Clement Desalle. In race 1 Cairoli  ruled the race from the first curve, dominating the test. Race 2 was all adrenaline, with a fantastic comeback from behind by Cairoli all the way to the highest step on the podium. Completing Sidi’s success was a third place in race 1 by German Max Nagl, Cairoli’s stable mate who is actually fourth in the final standings of the GP.

Tony Cairoli keeps racking up record numbers. In fact the total Grand Prix wins for this motocross phenomenon now stand at 50! After the five titles he’s already got under his belt, the Sicilian champion has scored another record in his extraordinary career and is aiming to win his sixth title, taking on all the challenges from here to the end of the season with his head held high. To do this, as always he can count on his inseparable Sidi Crossfire, the number one boots for motocross and off road. In addition to his personal record of GP wins, in the Czech Republic Cairoli also captured the 101st victory heat of his career, after a spectacular performance.
