Brown Earns 2nd at Havasu WORCS

Lake Havasu, AZ –
Factory FMF/KTM rider Mike Brown earned an impressive 2nd place result
in the deep sand on the beaches of Lake Havasu for the fourth round of
the WORCS.

Brown scored a pair of podium finishes in
both motos of the two-day race. During Saturday’s 1-hour long moto he
got off to a great start and quickly moved into the top three. He was
able to hang on for a solid 3rd place finish behind moto winner Taylor
Robert and the 2nd place ride of Kyle Summers.

On day
two, Brown was determined to pick up the pace. He had another great
start and began the race in 3rd position. “I had a lot more energy on
Sunday and we made a few small changes to the suspension that helped the
bike handle great in the sand. I felt more comfortable and it showed in
my lap times,” stated Brown.

With only a few laps to
go, Brown was able to reel in the 2nd place ride of Summers and make a
pass for the position. He went on to finish 2nd overall for the day. His
3-2 moto finishes earned him 2nd place overall. Now four rounds into
the series he sits 8 points behind Robert in the championship standings.
