Brian Deegan's Disposable Hero Up For Multiple Jury Awards At X Dance Film Festival

GOING ON NOW IN CONJUNCTION WITH SUNDANCE FILM FEST

Los Angeles, CA (January 22, 2007) – Freestyle Motocross icon Brian Deegan’s documentary film DISPOSABLE HERO screened Saturday, January 20, 2007, in Park City, Utah as part of the X Dance Film Festival, to a standing room only crowd.

DISPOSABLE HERO takes the viewer through the past three years of the almost always-controversial lifestyle that is Brian Deegan’s.  From his lowest points to his highest points, it’s painstaking, raw, energy-filled madness that makes you feel like you are right there with Deegan as he continues his quest for World Domination!  The speak-your-mind attitude that is Deegan, is at it’s finest in this documentary where the FMX demi-God gives his audience an incredibly candid glimpse into the sometimes political business side of Freestyle Motocross as well as unprecedented access to some of his gnarliest crashes and subsequent recoveries and comebacks ever captured on film.

Being distributed through VAS Entertainment in association with Berkela Films, DISPOSABLE HERO was selected to be part of the action-sport’s eminent annual film fest - X Dance.  DISPOSABLE HERO could leave Park City with a Jury Award in one of the following categories: Best Director, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Soundtrack, Best Original Music, Best Core Film, Athlete of the Year, Emerging Director, Best Biography or Best Film.  The LAT34.com X-Dance Award Ceremony takes place tomorrow, January 23rd, 2007 at Harry O’s located at 427 Main St. Park City, Utah.
