Bike Racing Resumes This Weekend at Inaugural Rock Run GNCC

Top Pros to be at Cernic's Suzuki/KTM Friday before the event

Morgantown, W. Va (May 25, 2011) - After
seven weeks off of bike racing, the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country
Series heads to Patton, Pa. this weekend for the inaugural Rock Run
GNCC. Since the bikes didn't have a chance to compete on a fresh Indy
100 course, excitement will be soaring, as this is a new stop on a
rather traditional 13-round circuit.

Coming off his second win of
the season at Big Buck, FMF KTM's Charlie Mullins leads the point
standings by a mere two points over defending champion Josh Strang.
Mullins and Strang have battled in the beginning rounds for what
promises to be an epic season in 2011.

Led by the XC1 veteran
Mullins, the FMF KTM riders have their sights set at the top of the
field as they've been frequently putting their orange machines up front
early on this season. Kailub Russell posted the first podium of his XC1
career at the Big Buck and this young rider is expected to remain up
front in the rounds to come. Cory Buttrick is a consistent finisher
every weekend, making him a strong contender for the points
championship at the end of the year. Nate Kanney is another KTM rider
that shows consistency up front, with finishes inside the top ten all
year, the New York rider has laid a solid platform for the rest of the
season.

Steward Baylor continues to top the XC2 class with two
wins on the season. F.A.R Husqvarna's Jason Thomas only trails the KTM
rider by four points heading into the fifth round this weekend. Andrew
DeLong, Brad Bakken and Jordan Ashburn round out the top five with
interchangeable results. This year's Lites class is full of excitement,
as the deep field of talent has proven to be unpredictable from week to
week.

Charlie Mullins,
Josh Strang, Kailub Russell, Cory Buttrick, Mike Lafferty and many more
will be at Cernic's Suzuki/KTM in Duncansville, Pa., this Friday, May
27 from 5-7 p.m. signing autographs and hanging out with fans.
Pennsylvania's Froggy Country music station will be LIVE from Cernic's
giving away tickets to the Rock Run GNCC along with signed merchandise
from top riders. Don't miss your chance to hang with your favorite
riders, have FREE dinner and win tickets and rider merchandise - all in
one evening!

Spectator passes run $15 for the full weekend, with
pro pit access and pro autographs at no additional charge. On both
Saturday and Sunday, youth riders race at 8 a.m., beginner riders race
at 10 a.m., and the top amateurs and the pros race at 1 p.m.

To
get to the track, turn left onto US 219/Plank/us 219-BR. Stay straight
onto Sunset Rd. Turn left onto Main St/PA 36. Turn right onto Thomas

About GNCC Racing

The
Can-Am Grand National Cross Country series is America's premier
off-road racing series. Founded in 1979, the 13-round championship is
produced exclusively by Racer Productions. Cross-country racing is one
of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The grueling
three-hour GNCC races lead as many as 1,500 riders through tracks
ranging in length from eight to 12 miles. With varied terrain,
including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, GNCC
events are tests of both survival and speed. Riders compete for more
than $3 million in prize money, which draws talent from all over the
U.S., Europe, Australia and New Zealand. GNCC Racing is televised and
airs every week on the Versus Network. For more information, please
