Bel-Ray Races Around the World-Weekend Preview

FARMINGDALE, NJ – June 3, 2011 –
Bel-Ray Company, Inc.  – Bel-Ray Races Around the World-Weekend Preview


Bel-Ray
has been involved in professional racing support since the early 70s.
2011 is no different and Bel-Ray’s professional racing teams and Elite
support riders
will be in action the second weekend of June. Racing will take place in
the United States, Canada, Portugal and Great Britain.


The
AMA National Motocross Series starts up again after a 1 week break.
TwoTwo Motorsports / Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed sits on top of the
points standings after 2
rounds of the 12 round series. Reed has won 3 out of 4 of the motos he
entered this season and is the man to beat for the 2011 championship.
The race will be held on Saturday, June 11 at the High Point Motocross
Track in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania.  Many of
Bel-Ray’s Elite Support team will be in competition this weekend as
well. Joining #22, in the 450 class will be #96 - Lowell Spangler, #388 -
Bryan Wallace, #449 - Dakota Kessler, #514 - Anthony Roth, #606 -
Ronnie Stewart, #760 - Tyler Wozney and #910 - Mic
Sowa. In the 250 class, Bel-Ray racers #446 - Frankie Lettieri and #731
- Steve Roman will compete.


After
a difficult day in Cataluyna last Sunday, the Tech 3 Moto2 hopes to put
their bad luck to the side. The Air Asia British Grand Prix comes to
Silverstone for round
6 of the series. After a 19th place finish in Cataluyna, Bradley Smith comes to his home GP looking for redemption. Smith is currently in 10th in the season’s standings. Teammate Mike DiMeglio too is hoping for his poor luck to change.
After a crash last weekend in Cataluyna, DiMeglio is set for a positive finish.


Round
2 of the CMRC National Championship series will take place in Naimo,
British Columbia, Canada this weekend and the the Kini / Red Bull / KTM /
IMX / Bel-Ray Racing
team is anxious to improve on their round 1 finishes. The team made
their debut last weekend in Kamloops with Mason Phillips, finishing 14th overall in the MX1 class and teammate Kieran Leigh, finishing 9th overall in the MX2 class.


The
MX1 Motocross World Championship series makes its stop this weekend in
Portugal with TM Factory Racing rider, Tanel Leok currently 13th overall in the
season’s points standings. Leok finished 10th overall last weekend in France.
