Press Release

BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki Salt Lake City SX Race Report

Salt Lake City, UT- With the conditions outside being more like
the North Pole than a normal supercross, the BTOSports.com/BBMX/Palmetto Suzuki
Supercross team that is based out of Florida was just a tad bit out of its
element this past weekend.

As usual, our privateer hero Jason Thomas dominated the 450 LCQ to
secure his spot in the 450 main event. By our count, this makes it about 392
LCQ wins on the season for Thomas and we wish he’d make it easier on us by
making it though the heat but that seems to be his lot in life.

In the main JT fought through the muck, rain and snow to finish a
solid sixteenth. A mid-race stop for goggles definitely didn’t help things.

Troy Adams made the jump up to the 450 class last weekend and was
doing pretty well until he decided to clear the triple without his bike. The
resulting crash left him bruised and battered but he was out there again this
weekend on a big bike.

Troy had a steadier main event than Thomas and would place in
twelfth on the night. Adams is going to forgo the 250 East/West Shootout this
weekend to stay in the 450 class and hopefully, unlike last year, his pants
stay on.

Bobby Kiniry is our New York rider and we thought he’d be right at
home in the conditions but Kiniry had to make it through the LCQ (like his hero
Thomas) and therefore was assured a crappy start. He worked through the pack as
best he could and when the flag flew, he was thirteenth and he ended the west
series in fourteenth.
