RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing Rider Dominates

At Hangtown Motocross Classic With 1-1 Performance

Showing impressive maneuvers at the Hangtown Motocross Classic, Roczen managed to lead every lap in moto one, sweeping the competition. He took his first win of the season six seconds ahead of defending series champion Ryan Dungey.FARMINGDALE, N.J. (May 24, 2016) – Bel-Ray sponsored racer Ken Roczen of RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki Factory Racing secured a first place 450MX overall finish at the 2016 AMA Pro Motocross Championship season opener in Sacramento, Calif. on May 21.

In the second moto, Roczen continued his unstoppable ride taking the lead right out of the gate. After Roczen boosted himself into first place, he maintained the lead through the end. Roczen’s 1-1 win this weekend puts him in first place in points overall.

“I’ve always done good at Hangtown, for some reason,” said Roczen. “But the track was a lot harder than it usually is. It actually got pretty sketchy during the second moto. It usually gets rough but it was very notchy and very hard in certain spots. That made it quite a bit different than in years past. It’s good to get the first (win) out of the way.”
