The Legends & Heroes of MX Tour MotoSports Achievement Seminar Series

An evening with 3 Time National Champ and “AMA Hall of Famer”- Marty Smith
with former MX Champion “Professor Gary Bailey” and friends. 

This
is a first of a series of informal motivational seminars and open mic
for 2011 focused on our rich history of motocross and the psychology of
winning on & off the track. An evening of cool stores, moto history,
how it was back in the day and how it relates to today!


This event will be hosted at the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Unadilla
on Friday evening (8/12) from 7:00-8:30pm prior to Pro day at the Amateur Track (U-2).

 
We
will host 3 Time AMA National champion and AMA Hall of Fame legend
Marty Smith.  Jeremy McGrath, Ryan Hughes, Michael Craig, and Rob Lyttle
are just a few from his student rooster. Join us and former AMA
champion Professor Gary Bailey and invited champs for a once in a life
time opportunity to hear their stores of “Old School” and how it relates
to “New School”.
 
Silent auction of cool retro items, all
proceeds go to support the Legends and Heroes tour and raffle goodies
supplied by our supporters.
 
Located at the Legends & Heroes MX Tour “BIG TENT” in the Amateur pits at the U-2 track
Friday, August 12, 2011
7:00pm Informal “Met and Greet” with the Champs
7:15pm Program begins
 

The program is a partnership presented by
The Legends & Heroes of Motocross Moto Museum Tour
and

 
Picnic style dinner (burgers and dogs) supplied to the first 150,
complements of the Legends & Heroes Tour (7 pm)

About the Tour
The
Legends & Heroes Motocross Tour is a professional historical
display and time-line of Americas greatest motorsport.  The tour
includes the machines and the champs of Motocross. The project was
conceived by a dedicated group of Motocross Enthusiasts who, over the
years, have discovered the value of the rich 40+ years of Motocross
legacy and its impact on the American motorsports history. “The
dedication and passion of the sport has brought the Legends & Heroes
Motocross Tour to the next level of sharing this legacy, the history of
the machines and men, as well as the women of Motocross. The history of
the Classic Iron and its' champions is a dynamic model ever changing.
We see this rich history as a great learning lab for all ages” according
