Fort Collins, CO (June 17, 2008)- American Supercamp proudly announces a partnership with Yamaha Motor Corporation U.S.A. for the American Supercamp motorcycle technique schools. Yamaha Motor Corporation will be supplying motorcycles, GYTR parts and accessories and Yamalube oils and chemicals for both standard Supercamps and American Supercamp Supermoto Schools. Yamaha TT-R110E and TT-R125LE motorcycles will be used in both Racer and Non-Racer American Supercamp schools.

American Supercamp schools are held on hard-packed dirt tracks to enhance abilities to perform panic or race-scenario stops and turns, along with dealing with a sliding motorcycle. This training provides benefits to street riders, motocrossers, dirt-trackers and roadracers alike.

Along with the other TT-R bikes, the school mechanics will be preparing a fleet of Yamaha TT-R230s for American Supercamp supermoto training.

The Yamaha TT-Rs are well suited for American Supercamp. The torquey and durable four-stroke engines are perfect for strong drives out of the corners during the long hours of riding. The electric starting of the TT-Rs will be a great addition as well, with the many stops and starts that take place during the one-on-one instruction Supercamp instructors provide.

American Honda, Honda Riders Club of America, and Pro Honda Oils have long been gracious supporters of American Supercamp schools. According to school founder Danny Walker, “The schools wouldn’t be what they are today and wouldn’t have reached nearly as many people if it weren’t for their support.” American Supercamp thanks everyone at the Honda family for all the hard work and cooperation over the years.
