GPF Babbitt’s Team Brings Smiles to Young Faces

(January 13, 2009) – On the eve of the first night of racing for the AMA Arenacross Series’ second round from 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Mary., GPF Babbitt’s Kawasaki and Miss Arenacross Lindsey Scheltema took time to visit the patients at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

GPF riders Shane Sewell, Daniel Aulsaybrook, Jerry Lorenz, and Josh Woods, son of team manager Ray Woods, spent quality time learning about what goes on at Children’s National and bringing smiles to many of the hospitals patients by spreading the joy of arenacross racing.

“This was such an honor to be a part of,” said Miss Arenacross Lindsey Scheltema. “Children’s National Medical Center is nothing short of remarkable. It was a truly heartwarming experience to spend time with these wonderful kids. Each and every one of them are the bravest individuals I have ever met and they are a true inspirations.
